Vinnie’s Week in Review (12/06/2019)

Hola friends. Feliz Viernes. I leave for a weeklong vacation in Mexico tomorrow so I figured I’d do what any American going to a foreign country would do – completely butcher the native language with American dialect in a poor effort to become cultured, even though almost all of the people there speak English. People will order a queso-dilla to go with their margzz and then say gracias and act like they’re fucking Sofia Vergara. It’s just so unnecessary like obviously the poor (favore) worker stuck taking your order needs to understand English, Debbie, otherwise due to your upright refusal to learn a new languages he’d be out of a job, so don’t try to get cute with your order. Don’t get me wrong, I have no interest in learning Spanish so it might sound hypocritical but at least I’m not gonna look* sound like an asshole when I order tequila shots.

*i just pictured what I’ll be wearing all week and it’s gonna be a Hawaiian shirt and a bucket hat so yes, whether or not I attempt to speak Spanish, I’m going to look like an asshole.
